Gina M. Harasti

Ms. Harasti has an active business and commercial practice focusing on business dispute resolution, litigation and organization; reviewing contracts, leases, proposals, and employee handbooks; advising on employment matters, intellectual property, collections, bankruptcy, and administrative/regulatory matters

Ms. Harasti has been actively involved in all phases of trial preparation and trial of cases in state and federal court since admission to the Maryland Bar on December 18, 1991. She has extensively handled commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes; employment issues, including sexual harassment and racial discrimination; regulatory and administrative matters before the Insurance Commissioner, including receiverships, and representation before the Real Estate Commission; zoning; directors and officers liability; product disparagement; trademark and copyright; appellate work; civil rights litigation; Child In Need of Assistance (CINA) matters; and litigation under Uniform Transfer of Gifts to Minors Act.

In addition, Ms. Harasti is well versed in insurance defense matters, representing regional insurance companies with respect to litigation of personal injury, property, professional liability, and employee dishonesty claims.
